need help QUICK

hey guys, just a quick one. ive come unstuck and need motivating again..

basically, over the last few days I think I must have been hit by a google update or something cos an article that's ranked no1 for multiple keywords and brings me the most traffic has gone down a few spots. and now traffic is very slow and minimal.

I haven't been doing this for ages but I know a fair bit and my content isn't thin or anything. so im not sure whats going on?

what do I need to do to get back on track or what would u do?

    Have you looked at your internal linking? Make sure relevant pages link back to this page.

    Also, find out what the pages that are outranking you are doing. Where are they getting links from? And lastly, make sure people can share that article easily so it gets moving through the interwebs as people like it and +1 it, pin it, and share it and email it, etc.

      thanks for your reply. how do I find out where they get there links from?

      also bit of a random question but..i updated my google+ app on my phone and since then cant retrieve it at all! I have no idea whats happened to it. don't know if that's had any effect..
