I have seen tons of sites offering to help you with SEO like where you type in your site and keywords then it comes up with how good it is for google etc? do you think these sites are worth using or not?

I would avoid them like the plague. Do your own analysis. It will be much better than anything these sites can do.

Ok thanks for the information it didn't seem very reliable compared to the checks i have used and from Fiverr's offers which so far have extremely helped me make my site SEO friendly and now i am almost at pagerank 3 for keyword Football.

There is no deal on Fiverr that will help you rank for "Football" - that I can guarantee.

I'd recommend doing a good deal of research into SEO so you're an educated consumer before throwing good money after bad.

Yeah proper on-page optimization is very important, however it won't be enough to rank for a keyword like "football" is what I meant.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to rank for such a good keyword... Maybe Football matches results for example, but only FOOTBALL... If you need to be on 1st page or something like this, try PPC!

  • Lokahi,

Just to add to the conversation, its hard to “package” any kind of SEO task. Yes there are standard things that every website should have but for the most part, each site is different and an analysis should reflect the goals of the business or site owner that SEO can help accomplish. In that regard, I doubt an automated site would give you much help.

    Best,

Definitely - this is why I recommend doing a bit of research into what exactly you're purchasing and what you need. At least you're on the right place to find this information.

I can't tell you how many people I've seen saying:

"I pay some guy to do 'The SEO' to my site $XXX a month and our traffic hasn't increased"

These are not smart consumers, doing a bit of research will help you save a significant amount of time/money/frustration down the road!

Research what keywords you are targeting as well because going after the wrong ones is a waste of time and $$$.

These sites are extremely vague and usually full of crap anyway.

Even Fiverr gigs usually just involve checking a couple of these websites and chucking the results into a fancy report or something.

Learn the ins and outs of what you need to look for and do your own analysis and you will have more knowledge than 95% of your competition.

Not blame good seo sites sidelined just because of the useless ones.
If you want to judge them let them send you a little report of keywords for your site.

I don't know how much these kind of websites works. Once I have tried woorank.com, the website analysis tool for optimizing the site of my client. The results that they have given to some extent I found are correct. They touch each part of the business website from the coding to content. If website data are the speedometer of your auto then web analytics is the entire dashboard. I found these seo sites helpful atleast you figure out your website status.
