Will an additional QNA blog weaken my ranking ability?
- SEO |
Couldnt quite nail the subject line for this thread but where is my question.
I have a fairly decent authority blog and to further help my readers (both new and returning), I have set up a QNA blog in a folder on my root domain like this:
www.mydomain.com/ask/
However, I was wondering, since my primary articles are about 2000w+, super high quality, authorship verified content, how would Google view a couple (about 2-5 a week) blog posts (that are often written in fairly poor English) by unverified (Google plus) authors that are super short in length (250-400w) appearing on my blog?
I know that Google will know that I didn't write them (through Google authorship markup) but doesnt Google enjoy finding a large amount of high quality articles on the entire blog, not mixed with a fairly large number of poor quality ones?
I know I went in a bit of a circle there but hopefully you know what I mean. I am concerned that since its just a QNA Wordpress theme (questions are essentially posts and question answers are essentially comments on that post) and not a forum (that Google can footprint as one), it will look spammy.
While I want to provide an amazing experience for my readers, I also put bread on the table with my blogging work so I need to have a balance between the two lol.
Your thoughts?
