Indexing My site

I have seen most of the sites are getting thousands of index even if they have 20 pages in their site. How they are managing this much Indexing.. Please do help me,, i really need to know.

    The only way I can think of getting thousands of pages indexed on a small site is they might be running a script that generates internal keyword search pages like ebay does.

    If they're generating boat loads of internal search pages odds are Google will eventually have a smack down on the site, so you risk dropping money pages in the SERPs.

    How do you know they only have a small amount of pages? Is it by looking at their site? Because if it is, a there could always be other pages on a domain that you can’t see from the main website. For example they could have made many more landing pages that are linked one-way to the main site. As Yukon suggests, there could also be search pages or other dynamically generated pages.
