URGENT LINK HELP

Guys,

I am doing some linking from ultra high PR domains, such as NASA blog etc to get some good search engine love... However the links aren't getting picked up.

Even if I post the links within my PR5 blogs etc, and the pages do get indexed (which they do, I have the proof) the links do not get picked up.

Why dont all the links get picked up and indexed? One person has told me that Google never shows you all its pages it their index or all your links in Google webmaster tools.... However I dont see why they wouldnt? Why wouldnt they show you the most relevant content?

I am even building links to the link I want indexed and still nothing even though the other links are getting picked up.

What is going on???

    they dont want to show you all the links, to stop ppl from reverse engineering google's algorithm.

    if you point links to a page that is not index, it will be and the link will count, if some arent then you need more links to that page with your link on it, or that site is being prevented from being indexed by the site itself.

    Are you referring to abacklink checker. Those can take time. All you need to d is search for the url of where the link is, in quotes without the http://.

    If the page is indexed and it says cached, then google will know about those links.

    Rather than checking links all the time just ensure they are indexed and monitor your rankings.

    Its not Google not showing all the links I am worried about, it is the fact that the pages my links are on are not getting indexed.... Even though Google has been referred to visit them from my high PR site etc.... Why arent the pages getting indexed????? Will Google hide some pages from their index?

      Use Yahoo Site explorer it does a better job of showing where your links are coming from.

      Google like to keep these at bay thus not showing you them all and usually very little of them.

      Listen.

      If you have a link on a page that is not indexed or been re-cached, then the link will NOT count.

      So, you need to point links to it to have it re-cached.. which is what you have said you have done...

      and then I answer you with this...

      If it doesn't get re-cached then the site in question is preventing it from being re-cached.
