Will Google Ban Me Or Should I Be Safe?

I have a quick question and would like some input from the pro's here

Here is the scenario. I have had an Adsense account for about 7 years and it usually earns about $100 a month with low CTR of about 2% and I just never really used it until this month.

So now since the beginning of this month, I hit a great niche topic, generated some viral content, and receive a LOT of traffic from Facebook and Pinterest, with a little from Google. My earnings are now $1,000+ with CTR of 10%. It is all legit traffic and clicks with no spam. I'm just worried since the account has changed so much within a month that Google may slap me. I've heard good and bad things about Pinterest traffic. But it's just like any other social media site so maybe I shouldn't worry?

Thoughts? Thank you!

  • Marketmaniac,

If everything is as you say it is, then I wouldn’t worry about it. Google is pretty good about seeing when people are breaking the rules and when they aren’t. Spikes in traffic definitely draw attention however they also happen normally and can be perfectly legitimate.

    Best,

let your fear die and think positive. google is good at detecting real and fake traffic. since you increased this with your own legal efforts, you can relax and see what google can award you with.
