I have my forum: Talk Cars Now

I have tons of content, and everything, but I still am not top page on Google. Any idea of how to get up there?

Besides the obvious backlink attempt, I'll point out that your website is in fact on google page 1 for the search term: talk cars now

Yes. Choose any keyword that no one searches on, put up some content focusing on that keyword, and you will get to the top of Google. But what good will that do you?

Did the person you purchased this site from tell you that you would be at the top of the Google SERPs? I'm guessing he also said that you will be rolling in dough from the traffic and subscriptions you get.

Google, I'm sure, recognizes what's going on with your site. Whenever you try to bypass the typical steps in building a real business, you will find it very difficult to succeed.

      I'd suggest here:

Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum

If your link drop survives, this thread will likely be moved there, where it belongs.

You should try to get real members, actual people coming to your site and posting relevant content. Look at your stats compared to the volume of threads and posts. Does anything weird jump out at you? How long have you owned this site? Two months maybe?

Without looking at the site, (I'm snow blinded by the crud here) do you even know what you want to be "top page of google" for?

That's exactly what I was going to ask OP. What keywords is the site supposed to be targeting?

No offense but those don't look like very good keywords (IMO), they look too generic/broad.

Do those keywords get any traffic?

People often think Good Contents going to pay back in ranking but it's obviously wrong. Thousand of high quality posts will not help you in ranking without having anchor text backlinks.

Content alone can not work, but if you build good quality backlinks and keywords are top targetted, it can help you get appear on google first page,
