Word Tracker Vs. Keyword Planner??

I'd like to ask which of these two tools give best data in looking for good keywords. I think they don't compliment very well in some results (IMHO)?

I would like to ask some help or anyone who had best experience on working on both.

I would really appreciate if you also have any other free tools to use for keyword research to recommend.

Thanks all.

Does market samurai provide monthly searches like the keyword planner?

It pulls the data directly from the Keyword Planner except it takes it about 10 minutes to do what you can do in the Keyword Planner in 5 seconds.

Market Samurai is an over hyped POS. Complete waste of time.

In my own opinion, I dislike Google's keyword planner, though it is useful at times.

You can try Market Samurai and Traffic Travis for more detailed insights.

These 2 programs provide you with suggested keywords, monthly searches, SERP's, keyword competition and more.

    I sincerely hope this helps.

The majority of keyword tools use the the Google Adwords API, all the 3rd party is doing is creating a different GUI, maybe add a few extra tools.

That is true, although it is the addition of the extra tools to accompany it (e.g other data from third party's such as moz).

For the OP, I use a combination of Long Tail Pro, Market Samurai and If I have a few ideas while i'm away from the computer I use the Keyword Planner.

Just be careful with 3rd party DIY tools/metrics, some of theses guys make up stuff just to get traffic in a sales funnel.

          No doubt about it!
It's still relevant to get a further depth of information relating to keywords and trends though, and those 3rd party services, for the most part, some close to accurate data.

Does this mean Google Adwords Keyword Planner's results are more reliable?

My method is different for keyword research. I basically reverse engineer (copy) my competitors keywords, then expand on it to create my own list based on the keywords generated and the ideas i have had.

Personally, this seems like the most logical way to do things. If people are already kicking butt and making money, why not copy them? At least its a good starting point.

I use semrush to do this (paid).
