I want to learn about seo and get my website to top position, I also want to do videos along side my website. which are the best programs for both these requirments, they must be in laymens terms.

    Depending on what type of video you want to make, Camtasia is great for screen captures + audio.. there's also Sony Vegas which I use when making 'proper' videos.

    iMovie is great for videos if you have a Mac (and easy). Screenium is the Mac equivalent of Camtasia and there is a free open source CamStudio that will do almost everything that Cantasia will do (these last two run on a PC).
