Question regarding backlinks
- SEO |
Hi there -
So I have been building mobile sites since about 2009 - never cared much about SEO or making money with it.
But I have decided to launch my first website, aiming to make a decent income with it.
I live in South Africa, and we have a booming tourism industry.
My plan is to make a business directory for tourism related businesses (hotels, lodges, game reserves, wine farms etc.)
The companies will pay a yearly fee to be listed on the website.
I was thinking of giving a cheaper package if the company puts a link on their website to mine - how much will this help with SEO?
How should the link be placed, does the name of the link matter or only the URL? Or is it better to make the link name the same as the URL?
Looking forward to your replies
