Using an aged domain for you money site?

I know the benefits of using aged domains with backlink history for building a PBN. But is there any benefit of using one of these domains for your money site?

Obviously the chances of landing a domain with a relevant name (or even within the same niche) is pretty slim, but does the domains old backlink history help you with ranking your new keywords?

Or just register a new domain and concentrate buying old domains for my network.

Any pointers, greatly appreciated

        Interesting one that, as I have a lot of old domains, that were once (some still are) very easy to rank any new keyword.

        But I have also started brand new websites, and bought some that were parked, which have easily out ranked so-called authority sites, without any substantial reasoning behind it.

        It is very strange out there at the moment, and nothing is guaranteed. The best bet it seems is to have multiple websites, domains and see if you get lucky, and you CAN get lucky with Google seemingly ( for no real reason ) liking it, and giving it some 'power' to rank for some serious keywords.

          When it comes to SEO and link building, what matters the most is your personal testing. Forums give you hints and ideas. Marketing proves profitable only for people who track and test, rinse and repeat, day in day out.
