Earnings increase with responsive adsense ads?

Hello everyone. I tried a search and couldn't find info here on the topic.

I'm curious if anyone has had an earnings increase from switching to responsive ad units with Adsense. I've tried a few web searches and I'm not finding many answers other than "how" to switch to responsive ads. Has anyone had a negative reaction to the responsive ads?

About 25% of my traffic is mobile and I'm thinking about giving it a try. I was hoping to hear from people what they have experienced so far with the responsive ads.

Thanks

Thanks for the link, but what I'm asking is if anybody has had success or not using the new responsive ad design. More revenue? Less? The same? I'm curious if it's worth the effort. There doesn't seem to be much info on that.

I don't know the answer to your specific question. But I can tell you what I do to get a killer CTR from mobile visitors.

I use a basic design in WordPress. It's just the Twenty Ten theme that comes with it. Then, I place my main ad near the top of the article within the text. That way, there's almost no way the mobile visitors can miss it. My CTR is through the roof cause they can't help but see my ad.

So as long as you are following good ad placement practices, I expect you can get good results from your mobile visitors without using responsive ads.

Image is what you are really referring to. Just change all ads
to image and text, or just image. I think they refer to image
      as "display" now.

Text ads will not be responsive.

Google tells you to change to both, but you have to test them
on your site. Every site is different.
