Taking articles from old website and putting them on article directories.

I have a lot of articles on an old website of mine and want to dismantle it. I wan't to take some of the articles and put them on EZineArticles - I'm not going into detail, but I have my reasons.
Anyway, when I delete the articles from my website - it still shows up in the SERPs - and that's fine, I understand that. Eventually, Google will come around and take them out of the SERPs.
My question is, EZineArticles has a strict policy of no duplicate content. Since I already have the articles deleted but put on EZine - however, it still appears in the SERPs (though the link will take you to a page not found) - do you think EZineArticles staff will have a problem with that?
Hopefully, I'm being clear about this...I just want to put a few articles on EZine and GoArticles without a problem.
