Google Places listing issue!!!

My client's website has been penalized - his homepage is no longer ranking anywhere.
Will his website penalty hurt his chances of ranking for his Google Maps local 7-pack ranking?

I concerned about this issue. Please help me someone.:confused:

    It could its kind of tossing a coin in the air all depends on where he is ranking, what he does and his competition. But generally speaking depending on how its setup would depend on if the penalty will effect the local listing as well.
