Is it Safe to Interlink Sites in Same GWT Account?

I know Gurus tell us that it is unsafe to interlink sites that are in the same "C" block in terms of hosting IP addresses. My question is, is it Google safe to link from one site to another that is in the same Google Webmaster Tools Account?

Both sites are in the same niche and are hosted by different companies.

    yes it is totally safe, when you register for Webmaster tool then different codes are generated.

    I honestly don't think it matters a single bit but if you want to be 100% safe you can always setup multiple webmaster accounts from different IP's

    I dont know whether its is safe or not but I think you have to make different accounts for different websites
