Stuck at #8. Suggestions needed to move up

Hi,

I have one site that is stuck at #8. It has moved to #6 for a short time but mostly it is at #8.

Can you share some tips so that my site moves into top 3?

    As long as your page is well optimised the best thing you can do is just get more backlinks.

    Reach out to websites or blogs in the same or a similar niche to you and see if you can negotiate your way into getting a powerful and relevant link. A few weeks of this should get you into the top 3 (depending on the competition).

    Do you have more social network signals than your competitors? If not, you need to get organic shares on G+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, Stumbelupon. After that like DizenSounds said, it's about quantity and quality of links
