Best way to use popular youtubers?

I have access to several partners who host youtube videos. The videos they make average anywhere from 2,000 to 100,000+ views per video.
Here is my question. Is it better to...
-Have them host new video content which i start putting into my own unestablished youtube channel, and have them put my website link into their existing video descriptions from their old videos...
or ...
-Have them continue hosting video content in their already existing and popular channel, and put my link in all previous and new video descriptions.
I know its important to build an active channel, but I'm curious if I should spend time and energy building a new channel from the ground up using these youtubers, or if I should just utilize the channels they already own for new content?
I suspect the answer will be a combination of both, and if that is the case what strategies would you recommend?
