  Thanks for the heads up. I can't wait to see the audio/video of the presentation.
  
  One thing that I took from the presentation is that people should be the most focused on...being people. What I mean by this is building a blog/website around helping people by providing useful content that others can easily relate to as well as understand rather than being overly systematic when approaching SEO.
  
  I don't know if this makes any sense at all but it does to me.
  
  Overall, I found the presentation encouraging. It reminded me that striving to help others and keeping things relatively simple CAN in fact yield better results than being a "robot" about things.

Ultimately the goal of a search engine is to be as close to being a human editor as possible.

It would be great - get rid of all those crapppy sites that just try and attract robots.

Their days are counted! The robots are coming of age

  Yeah, you really have to read in between the lines in order to get the most out of this presentation. There is still a lot of solid information that can be gathered from this but a video would be a whole lot better.

  Thanks Nick. This information is very encouraging for me. It goes to show that as long as your are genuine in what you provide for others content wise that it will pay off in the long run.
