Hi Warriors!

Quick question about a good SEO domain name.

Which would theoretically be a better domain utilizing the keyword:

'I WANT A NEW CAR'

iwantanewcarinfo.com

wantanewcar.net

Let me know! Thank you so much.

It doesn't matter what domain name you use. you can rank a domain name whatever it is. There is no weight given to a domain with it's main keyword in it. (Used to be) but not anymore...

Why not build a brand and build something to withstand the constant google updates?

    Hey Alex,

Thanks for the words of wisdom, and building a site to last is my intention, I simply want to utilize top SEO protocol.

Yeah there is different directions where you can go. My personal preference would be to go the branding way. (it's all i ever do)

Totally. The branding avenue is my intent.

That being said, from a purely aesthetic point of view, which type of domain do you favor from the two examples I listed above?

Do you think the viewer still prefers a .com to a .net, even if the .net is lower letter count, perhaps better looking..

Been trying to read up on this, but get varying opinions. Some SEO people say that a .com is still optimal, if only in the perception of the viewer.

Let me know your thoughts.. Thanks

Yes, .COM is always my preferred, however out of those 2 domains i'd go with the .net one as i wouldn't want my site to have "info" in it's domain name. specially as my intentions would be to keep the site for a number of years.
