Probably been asked lots of times but I cannot seem to make headway. Many of my sites had differing levels of success, but due to a lack of involvement due to illness over the last six months. I have noticed that none of my sites are seen in searches in Google even on up to page 15. Can anyone shed any light, an example site is britishroyalfamilytree.com. Any constructive criticism is most appreciated. For info using Yoast seo

Just checked that site and it's a parked domain.

Google doesn't index them anymore because they're considered worthless to searchers.

  • Your site may currently be a pagerank 0. Those pages are not completely removed from the index but they are always at the end of search results and therefore they are hardly to be found. Google may do this for unknown reasons due to their constantly changing their algorithms and rules etc. Having a quick look at your link, it appears to be parked on Godaddy. This could explain some of it.

      Hi

Very sorry for wasting your time but I typed in the wrong address, that has been amended. It should have been britishroyalfamilytree.com

Your sites indexed fine but, you have a few dup content issues might be worth looking at. Check out your Tags to start, little to no linking. Probably just faded away and died.

Ever had any DMCA actions made against your for the images?

In short no, but that will be down to a number of factors, the DMCA is enforceable under US law but not in the UK, 95% of my images are public domain, all trees are of my own design

I think your confusing privacy law with copyright legislation. Public domain does not mean public property. Most countries will honor DMCA regardless anyway, including Germany (212.227.12.64) where your sites hosted. And your sites being served in search results of databases hosted worldwide.

I asked because I saw the first pics of the new baby, and remembered that they where hot property at the time. Just wondering if there where pages of yours removed from search results, that you didn't know about. Through a Google removal request by the copyright owners.

my blog doesn't show post tags, but it has some other taxonomies to fit real estate requirements like property, location etc, and those tags are shown on property listing page, but not as a link, but as a simple text.
i want to know how to utilize tags at maximum. if i should take them out using some widget and put them in a sidebar or somewhere as they don't show automatically anywhere. thats ready-made template so i can't play with it.

Hmmm if you are using wordpress for your websites, maybe you are over-optimizing your pages? I don't recommend you to use your keyword many times, as this could get you penalized. Good thing is that even if you are penalized, you can fix it by edditing your texts/tags/category names, etc.

Your site layout really needs max-width. It's painful to look at because it stretches too much. Nothing to do with SEO, but might increase the changes of someone linking to it.

Site doesn't have too many backlinks.
