I launched a campaign on the 15th that got off to a roaring start. Feeling elated, I wanted to see another day of performance before I started tweaking my funnel. Everything was the same - same budget ($50), same audience, same ad, same bids, same landing page - identical. I didn't change anything.
You can see in the attached image that the conversion rate tanked on Day 2 even though the ad frequency was still 1.0. Is the day to day performance of an ad campaign normally this volatile?
