Does google count Exact match phrases if they have an added "s" in them when the orginal keyword was singular (no "s" ending)? specifically for title tags in SERPs?

2000 people are searching "vitamins"

210 people are searching "vitamin pills"

If my made my title in the SERPs "vitamin pills" would I capture both search queries at full power? Or am I better off just targeting "vitamins" and not being greedy?

"VITAMINS" counts as vitamin, and vitamins
    "VITAMIN" is just that vitamin

You could use "Vitamins, in the form of vitamin pills"
