Hello guys, for some reason, CTR down from December. Up to Dec 2013, it was .5-.75 but from decmber it came down around .25.

And also CPC also came down 50%, from .70 cents to .30 Cents.

Website URL is : hxxp://cocktailcontent.blogspot.com.au

Can someone advise what could be the issue please and how can I fix this?

Thanks,
Joseph

I am also having a slow month with Adsense. My CTR is actually up but my CPC is way down. I have read from other people's experience that January is a slow month for Adsense earnings so hopefully this picks up in February.

No mystery here, your ads suck.

This is why I dumped Adsense on my sites a while back, tired of the irrelevant crappy ads being served. At least you didn't get the local septic tank cleaning ad.

Here's an ad on your home page. Nobody would click those ad links on purpose. Those are Google ads which are equivalent to the old Google Adsense PSA ads that didn't pay any money.

If you really want to run Adsense, run ads on Youtube videos with pre-roll ads where traffic doesn't have a choice, they have to view the ads If they want to watch the video. Basically pay per view.

      Yeah boy!
That's one of those golden yukon tidbits right there. I took that to the bank.

Awesome bit of advice there! I guess with CTR it can come down to a number of things but if your site visitors see the ad in the same place every time then they become blind to them. Experiment with ad placement on the page and see how you go
