While I am a huge fan of GSA Search Engine Ranker, most tools aren't going to provide you with super-high-quality backlinks.

Probably not on their own, but using tools to automate some parts and manually doing the rest is more efficient than doing everything manually.

Yes there are many tools but you have to buy it. However those tools will not help you to build quality backlinks. Natural backlink building is the best techniques.

I agree, natural backlinking will utlimately net you the best long term gains. Don't go for tools, or choose promotion through vendors that use these tools. Examples are SEONuke, scrapebox, etc.

Ultimately you will find yourself shortly filling out disavow requests if that is the case....

In my opinion, there is no tool that will actually build you quality links by itself.

There are tools that can help to reduce the amount of time it takes for things like outreach but you still have to pull your finger out and actually do some work to get quality links.

There was once a fellow named Dougal,
who wanted some backlinks for Google
but SE Nuke made him puke
Magic Submitter left him bitter
UA Wizard stuck in his gizzard
he felt like a wanker using GSA ranker

You pay for someone to point a dofollow link to your site. It's clearly against Google's rules, because you're paying to get better pagerank and to seem more important than you are. If the seller and you are being careful there's probably a fairly good change that you won't get caught.

Most backlink packages that you see offered on WF and similar places are far from "premium". They're either spam-like comments on blogs or forums which is basically what we're discussing in this thread, or on very questionable linkfarm-type sites with inflated PR and poor backlink profile.

In most cases, are these "tools" actually people making backlinks, or just bots spamming your link around?

I'd call it "automation". They're not actually bots in the sense that there's no complex instructions that the semi-autonomous program follows. It's a human using a tool that can scrape was amount of content or post thousands of comments in mere minutes.

I would recommend you GSA SER for your 2,3,4th tiers.

Note that these tools just out of the box are a mass disaster weapon, especially if you point them to your money site. You'll need to learn a lot about the software to make it useful for you.

Oh, and you will also need Private Proxies, VPS, and captcha solver

Thanks

Do it manually! Automated tools wont bring any quality but you can automated some of your links but be sure not to directly link it to your site.

Do it manually i guess. But helpful are some of the tools which can help you to understand queries to find out perfect link opportunities.
Some of the tools I am using from Years is tools.buzzstream.com and go to > link building query generator and put your keywords there. This will help you to find opportunities and understand how you can find them in future.

If you are thinking of investing on a paid software to do quality backlinks, don't. No automated software can bring in quality links only quantity. I would rather suggest you hire a good SEO expert who is into white hat SEO and can provide you with high quality, high PR sites to build your links to.

I'm actually surprised at how many people are stressing that tools are horrible and everything should be done manually.

I suppose if you want to take the path of "least risk" then sure, do everything manually. (Although Google does not discriminate when it comes to tanking a site for no obvious reason.)

If you know what you're doing, which is key, tools can absolutely help you rank. I've got plenty of GSA SER campaigns that prove this. You just have to be willing to take a greater risk.

Personally, I'd rather spend time setting up sites and doing some automation as opposed to spending nearly all of my time working carefully on a single site. IMO it's a numbers game. Why have 1 site that Google can slap at any time when you can have 10 or more? One goes down? It sucks, but you've got 9 more.

I know a lot of people will disagree - and I absolutely understand. Just thought I'd throw my opinion out there.

Thanks

Just curious. Not attacking but just want to see where people are coming from.

How long do you see tiered link building working for? Cause lets face it for all the stuff we hear about how to use tools like GSA and Senuke theres really no mystery. We are simply talking tiered link building. Thats all.

Thanks

Don't create backlinks via any tool, it could banned your site in google database or your site could be penalized by Penguin. So I would like to suggest you that create manual backlinks for your site.

For quality backlinks, you need to build links manually with quality content. Softwares can make backlinks, but those are not too good as manual backlinks. So try for it manually.

I do love how these kinds of threads always get the same kind of responses x10. I guess its like a tally. 4x people saying (SENuke, Magic Submitter, etc.) and 6x people saying (Do it manually!) means do it manually! Oh and my personal suggestion, DO IT MANUALLY! Use tools to find out where competitors are linked, and how they are using there anchors etc, but the actual link building should be manual, especially if you want high quality.

I used to use UAW to backlink to HAND BUILT web2.0s That was last year.

I now use GSA with these web2.0s VERY RARELY, just to get a new site off the ground a bit. Then I go after links from relevant blogs. I just make a 200 "power list" of top bloggers in my niche and ask them for a link. But you HAVE to provide good content (I'm almost cringing as I type that) and REALLY make your site WORTH a link.

Man I sound like a bloody noob. I HATE people re-hashing the whole "good content" crap!

Hello everyone,

Newbie here, but I'm quite motivated. Based on my evaluation of current research, opinions, updates, etc. I have decided to go the manual route. However, is there a tool that can help me assess whether or not a particular backlink (or category of backlinks) is worth creating.

I hope this isn't a dumb question...
