Should I Host My Domains On Different IP's?

Definitely you have to put them on different IPs, I am using hostgator reseller package, for each site you add gives you a random ip, but may be different to those that you have assigned or can be repeated, so, it is also advisable to use different hosting services

i am not sure that is there different ips available but you need to get different hosting for different domains.I refer you ipage.

No, you don't have to use different IP addresses. That's just a belief that some SEOs have. A big host can have a front-end server where hundreds or even thousands of sites are behind a single IP. I'm sure Google knows very well how this shared hosting stuff works.

Where this idea comes from? Well, the theory goes so that when your activities are questionable you want to be limiting the potential footprint your sites may have. Your sites might be easier to detect if they share characteristics such as IP. But Google can't penalize/filter by a shared IP in any case, because that wouldn't work in the real world for the reasons mentioned above.

Actually the opposite is true: when you're using your "private" IPs from a "SEO Hosting" company they're easy to filter. But I'm guessing that Google hasn't done much of that either.

The comment above is terrible advice. Not only has ipage a piss-poor reputation, but you certainly don't need to have separate hosting packages.

I hate to disagree with you because, in my humble opinion, having all your network domains on the same hosting is asking for trouble and to suggest that Google doesn't realise that this is one of many potential signals of manipulative behaviour is naive if you ask me.

What's even more is that you can pick up super cheap hosting from completely separate companies for dollars so why even take the risk? Remember, hosting for network sites does not need to be fast because users are not likely to visit.

If I was into this sort of thing, and had enough sites to call them a network, I'd probably use different hosts too. However, there's a huge difference between experienced farmers and the green guys who're being told to do something for reasons they don't understand and that don't probably apply to their situation. "Yes sir, this SEO Hosting snake oil will cure all!"

I'd sure like to see some hard data about this stuff. Yeah I know, it's almost impossible to get results that are not just anecdotal BS, but there'd have to be something if this stuff really worked or mattered.

I did suggest that Google realizes the implications that shared hosting might have. However, I feel that's one step beyond IP being a potential signal. I'm quite sure they use IP addresses for something, but not as naively as some SEO practitioners would like to think.

They can penalize/filter by a shared IP address and they have.

I would not use any advertising themselves as an SEO host. Google has targeted SEO hosts in the past and I'm sure will continue to do so. About the only reason somebody signs up with an SE host is to host a network. Google knows this. They are not stupid.

The only time I ever had network type sites deindexed was over 2 years ago using an SEO host. Two domains were deindexed. When I took a look at the other domains on the same IP address, over 80% of the domains had also been deindexed out of over 125 domains. So yeah, Google targeted the sites based on the IP. My sites that got caught in it, were only partially finished and did not even have any links on them yet. Collateral damage.

I would use a different shared host for each domain in the same niche.

Crap, did I write that badly? Yeah, you're right and I've actually heard these stories.

What I meant to say about shared hosting: it would not be feasible to filter/penalize a server from a big-name shared host based on the IP address alone. That doesn't stop Google from filtering whatever they'd like to filter.

I think they are far too expensive for a network type site. There are tons of cheaper hosts.

yes if you build your own PBN you must have every domain have unique IP some warriors suggest to put every domain in a hosting company but I suggest you try seohosting.com it's a good web hosting for PBN

No it is not. That is a horrible, horrible idea.

Besides all the problems with using an "SEO" host, their service is garbage, and they are more expensive.

Have a new person do it for every domain
Have them buy the domains 4 years apart
Keep locations of IP at least 8000km apart
Do not use any themes with Cats in it
Use colors like Purple in font so to not attract attention

you dont need different IPs only, you need different Class IPs, for example C IPs and it will help you in back links coming from different IPs. Back links from different IPs different domains do have an impact.

you dont need different IPs only, you need different Class IPs, for example C IPs and it will help you in back links coming from different IPs. Back links from different IPs different domains do have an impact.
