Scrape Box and Paid Proxy Question

I just started using Scrape Box and the trouble that I am having is that the free IP addresses and ports for Proxy Servers are inconsistent and don't work all of the time. So I'm willing to invest in a private solution, I'll pay for up time. My questions are :

1. What is the best option for paid proxy servers that works with Scrape Box?

I tried HideMyAss and a few others and they say they won't work.

2. When you pay for those services, are they always up or do you have the same problem as the free anonymous services?

    Squidproxies are one of the more reliable providers but nobodies perfect.

    BuyProxies is what I use. But not really for scraping. Just mentioned it in another thread but I use a VPN (not HMA) and easily switch servers once Google gets crabby.

    I am a newbie, so these questions might be basic. But from what I understand, scrape box has a section to place IP addresses and Ports so that you can generate link backs to your site, and so that Google doesn't think that you are creating them all yourself.

    But all that I understand now is that I need a list of IPs and Ports. I think that a VPN is simply 1 IP address vs. a list of IP addresses. Can someone explain this to me at a 101 level?

    Scrap box can harvest proxy from many websites, so you can add the URL's of your favorite proxy website. One general fact about scrap box is that it is a one time purchase, it is not a monthly subscription.

    Use harvested proxies for scraping links, and private proxies for actual posting.

    Use SB itself for harvesting proxies.

    There are plenty of good proxy providers although some can be a bit pricey. YourPrivateProxy and BuyProxies have worked pretty well for me if you need fast, private proxies. If price is a concern, go with squid or some semi shared with newipnow.
