hi guys
i have a site for a family that needs charity donations for a very special cause.
i have no idea what keywords to choose to bring traffic to the site.
can i choose charity???
can i choose help someone????
hard to predict....

Forget SEO & go with social (Facebook).

Social networking is good way to promote. Also I suggest you to run paid advertising target very specific keywords related to the charity.

Find charity forums and participate by contributing in the form of posts, Once you have enough posts count with your name, surely people will trust on you, And try to develop a continuous relation with them.
My advice is don't go for keywords and SEO / PPC
