I was unable to answer his question.

How will google and other Major Search Engines react and treat these new TLD'S that has been released.

    I'm pretty sure than they will not react. It's a normal site like any other, and ranks in SERPs by other merits.

    I just hate that .guru TLD myself. Combine it with any technological subject, and presto! Instant negative brand image. So it's that's a ranking factor - inside my head.
