How to monetize my website?

Dear Warriors,

This is my first post on this forum, but I read alot here!
Please excuse me for my bad english, english is not my nature language.

But my question is this:

I have a website now with something like 3,5k visitors a month. Its like a place to read information about a product thats like in the early adopters fase. I know that over 2-3 years everybody need one of this product. The problem now is that it is to expensive (the lowest price = 1200 dollar).

Also there are not many people in my country that sells them and the business who sells them, nobody has some marketing budget to buy some ads on my website.

My homepage at this moment is as followed. They find me on a buyer keyword like 'buy product', so I think they definetly want to buy the product, but I know it is to expensive I guess. Then there is an table with all the different types etc with a link to my affiliate (for now). Its getting like 3000-4000 clicks per month and I only sold 1 product for like 1500 dollar.

There is no point in buying them and then selling them because I dont really have the passion for it and just not the financials at this moment to buy them.

So I really dont know how to make money out of this website... Can you guys with your expertise help me with this?

My thought about this one are:
- Build an emaillist (I dont have one know, dont know what to give a freebie and dont know how to convert these subscribers)
- Use Adsense. Never used adsense before, I only use affiliate marketing and dropshipping.
- .......?

Thanks for reading thru my bad English.

Beste Regards,
Nelis013

Yeah, thats why I didnt used it before. I dont like it either.

But do you have any other tips? Im thinking of just adding some content monthly and just wait till the product is more populair...? If I add a optin box then I can collect emails etc.

If I were in your shoes, I would look at relevant companies that you could promote via affiliate programs and try that route. Honestly though it's trial and error. Try a route for a month, test another one for another month and so on. See which one you get the best results from.

You can promote CPA offers which payout $1-10 depending on the country. There a re various offers such as email submits, software download, surveys and so on. You can search for something similar to your niche .

You can build and increase your list, promote affiliate offers for good commissions.
If your site is more than 6 months old and getting good traffic you can also apply for adsense.
