easyadsense is a good one if your only wanting to install adsense. It takes a lot of visitors to make good money that way though.

If you only want your ads in fixed positions then WP Insert is an excellent plug-in,
it doesn't take long to figure out how to use it and it allows easy exclusion of pages/posts by ID, very important for Adsense iydk.

Use Quickadsense. It also helps you ROTATE your ads. I rotated CB and ADSENSE ads.

Quick Adsense offers a quicker & flexible way to insert Google Adsense or any Ads code into a blog post.

You'll get screwed over using an Adsense plugin.

Those guys that build those Adsense plugins will most likely be skimming your Adsense earnings by rotating their Adsense ads on your site. All they have to do is swap out a single pub-ID#.

Forget that crap & paste the Adsense code directly in your web page source code.

No, it's not likely at all. Every character of the source code is readable, it's all in the public repository, and they've got huge install bases. It's likely that if these plugin authors were pulling a stunt like this they'd get caught with their pants down soon enough. Back when I was running Adsense I was constantly checking on the ads and ad code.

It's certainly technically possible to accomplish, I give you that. And there's not much of a reason to use a plugin for this kind of simple thing.

Sorry, I was most likely talking out of my arse. It's not even technically feasible.

I don't even know Adsense that well, but I know you can't run ads on any site you want. Pulling this of would require some kind of iframe setup or similar to obfuscate the click source, which in turn would make the content and traffic fingerprints so weird that I'd be fairly easy for Google to detect. It doesn't really work on any level unless you believe that Google is running a conspiracy with these guys. If that's the case you shouldn't be using Adsense in the first place.

I'd count this myth as busted.

These lame Adsense plugins for WP only use the Adsense pub-ID#, that's all these clueless users are editing.

Adsense will run on any site that doesn't manually blacklist the site in the users Adsense admin. which I'm sure none of these guys in this thread knows exist considering they can't even figure out how to copy/paste the Adsense generated code on their WP theme source code.

You guys are gullible running affiliate plugins & expecting to make money.

          Use your head.

And that "run on any site" would be the point where Google catches the guy, boots him out of the network for good, and starts to seal this security hole. Probably also reports the plugin author to the WP developers, which would be kind of a bummer for both the authors of plugins that were mentioned above: the guy who has 16 plugins under his belt, and the founder of an ad network.

Yet there's still a bunch of plugins/themes built for skimming.
