Hi Warriors,

While doing research on my next E-Book "Effective Competitor Analysis for Better SEO" I was able to find that one of my competitors ccTLD for India is available.

Example:

Competitor`s website: AbcdXYZ.com: The Leading Abcd XYZ Site on the Net

ccTLD for India: www.abcdxyz.co.in
www.abcdxyz.in

Now my competitor gets 42.7% of total traffic from India for the keywords:

1. Social Media optimization
2. Internet Marketing etc.

My Question:

If I register my competitor`s ccTLD in my name and then upload UNIQUE and Relevant content with the same Targeted Keywords as my competitor and almost same backlink list creation (Details I got from Ahref/ Moz).... THEN..

What are the chances that in NEXT 3-5 months time this ccTLD will gain high rank and also steal my competitor`s web traffic?

Your advice please...

I don't know about the laws around there, but in most countries it's not legal to use established brand names or trademarks that way. That being said, choosing a similar domain name does not help you with Google. You still need to rank the site by it's own merits.

PS. Try to write descriptive titles instead of "need help anyone please".
    Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
