Need SEO advice

Hello Warriors,

I am new to the forum, I am a web developer, and feel like I should have joined the army long ago, in any event pleased to be here and offer my help.

I have recently began the process of managing the website hxxp://frivcon.com and need some SEO help while I get the professionals on board.

The website is ranked quite high but I know there is a lot of room for improvement.

Where should I start? What should I read / implement?

Any advice, feedback or criticism is greatly appreciated.

      Thanks for pointing this out but the cursor has not been a factor in regards to SEO.

    When a cursor takes up 1/10th of the monitor it's a bit much. Tone it down...

    Looking at your home page cache, looks like your running a script that probably 100's more webmasters are running. That means unnecessary Supplemental SERP issues.

      When 100's of sites run the same pages/content, Google doesn't usually show 100's of sites with the same content in the SERPs for decent traffic keywords. Google will bury most of those sites/pages in Supplemental SERPs where traffic will never find them.

      Do a keyword search & click all the way to the last page in the SERPs, scroll to the bottom of the last search page, click that link, that's Supplemental SERPs, search results that will never be found by traffic.

      My point was, If your site is running a script that generates the same pages found on 100's of other sites (that you don't own), your basically creating unnecessary problems in the SERPs. Not only do you have regular competition, you'll have extra competition from the other 100 (or whatever number) sites running the same pages/content.

    I feel like I've seen that site before, probably because there's dozens of sites operating with the same model. Many of them also use WP and very similar theme. Nice to hear that you're doing ok.

    The front page and game pages don't have much textual content, which is bit of a problem for Google. The content also seems to be directly from the source you got the games from. What should Google rank your site for?

    I'm not 100% sure of what Yukon is talking about, but perhaps it's just this problem here: Your content and even page structure is identical to other sites. Therefore Google is more likely to just filter your pages to their "more results for this query" pile.

    Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
