Here is how you can build a private blog network without spending a penny. Be aware that this is no "over night #1 spot" method, everything good in life takes time (and work)

Get a Google Chrome browser.

Go to the app store and get these two free extensions, Check My Links and SEO Quake.

Do the following Google search query; replace keyword 1 and 2 with relevant keywords for you.

site:blogger.com/profile/ keyword1 keyword2

Now, open each profile and look for the category Blogs I follow.
If the user has blogs in that category it is time to use check my links, now you will see some links turning red or green.

We are looking for red ones with a 404 error, which means the blog got deleted.
Click on any red 404 URL and check the page rank with SEO Quake.

If the PR is above 1 try to register the domain for a new blogspot blog. Also make sure to check for backlinks even if the PR is 0 the domain might have several hundred backlinks!

(Even if you can´t register the domain save it in a text file, because one day you will be able to!)

If you managed to register the domain, put an article and a link to your main site on it.

If you are consistent with this you can build your own private blog network for free!

This technique works with other web 2.0 properties as well!

I have tried this but not much. I registered my first blogspot subdomain that subdomain has PA-27 and one backlink from page with PA-56, as soon as i registered that subdomain PA drops to 1. I don't understand it and OSE is not showing any backlink, previously it had 3 backlinks from 2 domains and all have high PA. I don't understand why this is happening. Will the subdomain regain its PA and backlink

Strange, normally you can't re-register deleted blogspots.

At least 1 year ago when I tried it was not an option.

Can do it with Tumblr, Weebly and a few others though but blog spot, nope not back then, unless they changed policies.

I think you just made this whole thing up as there's not even a category named "blogs I follow", it all redirects to Google Plus.

In Google's 37th failed attempt at social they've redirected the old blogspot profiles over to G+ profiles.

This is how a company boost business progress for share holders ($$) without actually increasing traffic, also known as hoodwinking, BSing, shafting, etc... It's a numbers game.

There is actually a category called "blogs I follow" under the Title of the blog on the persons profile page.

I'm not really interested in blogspot PBNs but do you have a working link to any blogspot profile, that doesn't redirect to G+?

Wonder that as well, when I click profile on Google+ I end up on my own profile.
