how to insert adsense in right column of blogger?

I tried inserting via the HTML template but nothing appears. Can anyone tell me where it should be inserted? I've got a feeling I inserted wrongly.

I know there's the Page Element adder that allows you to add Adsense automatically but I'm using the Adsense rotation script which can only be added to your blog via HTML.

If you are using the standard templates just add a widget, there should be a choice for adsense

but i aint using the standard Adsense script

i've using the Adsense "multi palettes" rotation script

the widget adder doesn't have the "multi palettes" option so I've to manually include the script in the HTML template.

now, problem is i dunno which part of HTML template to add the script to so that my adsense will appear on right hand column of my blog.

  Thanks
