Will page loading time of your blog affect SEO?

I don't know about specific times, but I've read many times that a well designed site with good loading times does have some importance in SEO.

What affects ranking is bounce rate, if the page takes too long to load, visits will leave fast, increasing the bounce rate, and also making you site rank lower in any Search engine.

I would consider 3 seconds a good time, but you need to use WMT for a precise loading time of your pages.

Thats right. If your visitors will have negative experience with your site, Google will sooner or later degrade your site.

Slow loading will affect your conversion rate mainly, so for the sakes of keeping your visitors on your site, even a second matters. Google does take into account the loading time, but it's not an essential factor.

From my own personal experience if I go to a webpage and I spend more than a couple of seconds looking at a white page i will click the back button and try another page. It doesn't look good. And I am sure it has an impact as many online tools measure your page load time

The biggest issue with page speed would be Googlebot timing out & bailing from the page If the page takes forever to load. Googlebot isn't going to sit around all day trying to crawl one page.

I'm in the impression that this is also a factor for Google. It's not just about increased bounce rate or timeouts, but Google has started to collect this data to determine wether a site is in good shape.

If the site is reasonably fast, and test scores confirm that, don't sweat about it. 3 secs is not blazing, but it's not too slow either.
