Adsense/Amazon question

Hi great warriors,
I had a question about my Amazon site.
So I have a site on the "home" niche, and I want to build it into an authority site(with loads of unique content).
I want to add adsense to it, though I don't have adsense account yet.
On most of the posts, I have unique articles(which I write myself),but I also have links to Amazon products within the post.
If I apply to adsense for an account, will this be a problem? Should I remove all the Amazon links to it and just make it pure content(all my images are from Amazon too, so they are linked too)
Please tell me how people monetize their sites with AdSense and Amazon?
