I have two wp sites. On one site I publish one post in 5-6 days & on the other site I post less frequently.

My posts on the site , where I publish more frequently, get indexed in two days time. On the other site it takes much longer period.

My question is can/should I do some thing to speedup indexation of my new posts.

Here's a trick I learned that has worked 100% of the time for me. It gets my posts indexed in a few minutes flat... (I'm assuming you're using WordPress, but even if you aren't, you can pull this off without a plugin.)

    1. Add a relevant YouTube video to your post.
    2. Install this plugin: WordPress › Google XML Sitemap for Videos « WordPress Plugins
    3. Create a video XML sitemap with the plugin, and when it asks you to ping Google, do it.
    4. Wait 30 seconds to 5 minutes... voila.

Every time I make a site, whether it's for a blog, review site or any niche site, I always make Facebook, Twitter and Google fan pages.

Every time I publish new posts I will update my Social pages linking to each post and page created.

The more you update your website the quicker posts will be indexed.

If you want to get index manually in Google, Just go to Google Webmaster tool and click Fetch as Google. Here you can index your new blog post easily.
On the other hand, if you want get index naturally fast then just share your new post link on Google+, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Pinterest and others popular social networking and book marking sites.

Really that's the easiest way to get a page indexed & cached. The few times I tested the Google Fetch on new pages I had instant results in the SERPs (no personalized SERPs).

    2. More links (include nofollow links) to the site
    3. A sitemap

You can speed up the process if using Social Media sites like Facebook, Twitter, G+, etc. You can share your website there, but try NOT to spam! Social signals are a good way to speed up the process of link indexation!

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

    Hi,

Ever since Google started to take Freshness into consideration its no wonder that the website with content added frequently gets index more often. What you can try is the Google fetch tool through Webmaster Tools. You can even update the sitemap of the site you want indexed and resubmit it into Google Webmaster Tools "sitemap" submit.

I just know personally that when you write content frequently and your blog is updated this helps getting your website indexed quicker. That's the best approach!

    Good Luck,
