HI guys,

I am currently running an amazon affiliate site which I am aiming to eventually make an authority site on business, industrial and scientific supplies. (may split these into 3 separate sites)

My current traffic is coming from google adwords only but I am having trouble reaching the right people.

Could anyone give me some tips on buying keywords that are related to the categories on my site?

it would be much appreciated to get some feedback as I am new to this and have only ever run auto affiliate sites using plugins.

    Google adwords for affiliates site may end up in a pocket burning option. So trend carefully.
    I would suggest you invest in some good keyword research tool and find some good targeted keywords. Invest your time and energy in keyword research as it will save you $$$ in long run.
    Once you have chosen the keywords, start running a trail campaign for each one. Keep a close eye on conversions and then weed out the non performing ones.

    You can then scale up the performing campaigns.

    Few more pointers
    1) Add a privacy policy page on your website and give it a sitewide link.
    2) Move that aweber email subscription form above the fold.
    3) Target social media for leads.
    4) Plan a SEO campain and try to get organic traffic. This may be a slow and long term option, but again this is worth the return.
