How to add a new address in Google maps?

My query is simple and many of you know about it. I want to add a new address in Google maps as per client need. Maps have to add in the contact page of a new website.
I had tried many times but unfortunately unable to generate map, I am using following link and it shows error while adding the street address, URL and phone number.

https://mapsengine.google.com
Please don't advise me any free map maker tool, better to give me some tips over above links. I would really appreciate any help.
