Hey all.

I was actually curious to know if there are WSO's, pros, or similar resources that specifically address ranking an iOS or Android app to appear in organic Google search results. Clearly things like app title, and app description come into play. But what else? Any links, tools, resources are greatly appreciated!

You can optimize your apps listening page on Google by building quality links to that page. There are always ways to perform SEO on these type of stuff.

    Hi,
the app title should reflect the search query and it's also important for the app to rank high in the AppStore while these apps are listed higher in search results. Consider adding your app to Facebook AppCenter and Google Apps. Also, place your app on websites like cnet.com and sourceforge.net.

I have no idea what you are asking. Anyone searching for andoroid apps
will get google play. When people search on google play, apps are
ranked in various categories. None of that is SEO.

You must be listed in google play. Everything else is what your app
is, does, its popularity, ratings, etc.

Have no idea whay anyone would mention something ridiculous as
"links" to an app on google play...SEO is not even in the mix.

It has got to do with mostly:
    - App name
    - Number of downloads
    - Ratings

It's mostly to do with the app name actually, it's different from ranking on Google.
