Usually, such template ready websites are much better for what they're known for - website design and speed to market.

In terms of SEO, from my experience, websites like wix.com and webs.com's "SEO" is nothing. lol. All they usually provide is to submit some sitemaps, or maybe even directory submission e.t.c. Some very basic SEO stuff which has only an infinitesimally small impact on your website's SEO.

The only way to boost your SEO fast and quick is:
- High quantity of backlinks (with differing anchor text) from relevant, authority websites

That's all that's needed to work, but if you want to try other methods, you can try (though its effect is much smaller than the one I mentioned above):
- Social media backlinks (thumbs up/shares)
- Web 2.0
- Social bookmarks.

SEO Services ain't cheap. If you will find cheap seo services, they will also give you poor service. There are many aspects and techniques in doing SEO that will help your website rank on a specific or various keyword terms.

I love services that will do everything for me in terms of website building but in terms of SEO and content, I would rather hire a good freelancer or SEO expert for this one so I can closely monitor what my links are. Like the others already commented here, a good SEO is focused on quality- and that is already proven many times.
