Monetization Help

Hello. I am looking for some help monetizing a site I have an understanding why my AdSense clicks have dropped off considerably the last 2 months.

The site is from what I believe to be a strong niche with a lot of potential to have increased interest in the coming months/years. It currently has an article that ranks #3 on page 1 of google and gets 50 - 100 unique visitors a day... with a good 25 - 30 being from search traffic. Monetization is done through Adsense ads and Amazon affiliate links. I was making $10 - $20 a day in Adsense clicks but that has dropped to virtually nothing, and while Amazon has never converted well it has dropped down to virtually nothing as well.

I welcome any advice anyone has and if a link to the site would be helpful I would be willing to provide it.

    Are your Adsense ads relevant to the page/site/niche?

    Adsense likes to push local ads whether they're relevant or not (usually not relevant).

      Well every time I go to it I see ads that seem relevant, though I guess there is no way to see if I am being retarageted unless there is some way in adsense to do that. Still kind of new to it.

    The more you know your demographic, the better you can sell them things.

    I would search CPA networks and physical merchants, (Maxbounty, shareasale, etc) and see if you can find an offer/merchant that is more relevant to your demograpihc.

    There's ALWAYS better ways to monetize your website then adsense lol

    What is your niche?

    Have you tried signing up to some CPA networks like MaxBounty and promoting offers relevant to the niche you mentioned? This could also be a good opportunity to start experimenting with other traffic sources as well.

    I'm interested in what your niche is, so if you don't mind providing me with that link It'd give me a better idea if there are some offers at MaxBounty that would work for you.

      Hi and thanks for your help. I am going too look into MaxBounty and other income opportunities. The site is Get Rid Of Cable Home essentially reviewing/promoting products and services for people that look for alternate video entertainment sources.

        Site looks good. Not a niche with a TON of offers directly related but there are plenty of things you could try.

        There is an offer at MaxBounty for TV Fanatic which is a toolbar that allows you to stream TV inside your browser. That would definitely be directly related to your niche.

    what are your actual traffic and conversion numbers?.... no offense intended but unless you were getting a heck of a lot more traffic that what you stated in the OP then you were never making $10 a day let alone $20.
