How do you perform an SEO audit?

Hi guys,

Actually I need an advise on how am I going to perform my SEO audit. I have done several audits but some of the client did not find it attractive that's why instead of I winning the project it ended up to disappointment.

Hope to hear some words to you masters, gurus and experts.
