Hi all! Regarding keywords - I know it's important to (if possible) have your keyword in your title and in the url of the page right? Well... when the keywords have low competition and a fair amount of traffic (I'm using Market Samurai) Do I purchase the top five, so I can have them for my title and use the other five for the url for each page for my articles? Just wondering....

Thanks for your help...
Leah

It's great idea to include the keywords in the title and url when ever possible - quality content and proper back-linking when combined will trump all. concentrate on not "Stuffing" the keyword making it seem repetitive and unreadable. Aside from that I use a keyword per article.

example - If i was promoting Google's new chome cast I would have used keywords i researched with high traffic per article one might be how to setup google chome cast another buy google chrome cast, google chrome cast reviews ext... all these would have a separate page with the kw in title.

thanks, so the keyword just has to be in the "title of the article" - not necessarily the keyword in the dot.com... Ok.... I was about to say.... this could be expensive. Great info to know.... Thanks so much for taking the time....

I am more clearer now in how to do this. I see several low - medium searched keywords in MS that I can make page articles out of. Should I just contact you here for any other questions? Thanks soooo much!

    Hey,

First, can you clarify what you mean by purchase the first five? Do you mean keywords for EMD (Exact Match Domains)?

Next, always include the keyword in the title, URL and description because this is important when Google indexes your website. Next, Matt Cutts has even shed some light on the importance of having keywords in the title and URL.

Next, I’ve tried almost every trick in the book when it comes to ranking and nothing beats good old fashion high quality content. There are people who have high competition keywords and are ranking number 1 because they produce content which goes viral and creates a buzz online.

Please get back to me on what you mean by purchase top 5.
Market Samurai is an awesome tool and I;ve used it many times but remember that there are over 200 Google ranking factors so just because a site has low inbound links, low domain age and overall links doesn’t mean that they are easy to outrank.

Waiting for your reply on my question.

Hi and thanks for your reply....
Well I mean, you can only use keywords in a title if you purchase the keyword I thought... (For Instance, if I've found a good keyword, with good ranking factors, I should buy that keyword and use it as a dot.com title right? (Is that what you mean for EMD? I know you should use keywords in the url also to be considered for higher rankings...Thank You!!!

    Hi,

No you don't need to buy any keywords. The only time you would purchase anything is if you want to name your domain that. For example, if you have a keyword "effective link building", you can try to find a domain which is effectivelinkbuilding.com. However if you would like to use it in the title then do this when naming your article title.

    10 Effective Link Building Techniques

If your using Wordpress for blogging then in most cases your URL will end up being:

    yourdomain.com/10-effective-link-building-techniques.html

You are FREE to use any keywords you need to and the only time you need worry about purchasing anything is when buying an EMD so that your website URL is named after the keyword which to me really does not provide you any extra leverage.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
