How to do SEO for a video site? I am news, have little knowledge on this, I embed youtube videos in these posts. Any suggestions?

    If you have written content to go with the video and use your title, h1, and keyword tags.

    You can get the content written simply by running your video's through a transcriber tool.

      There is no SEO for that. You are trying to replace
      with your own site. Totally against google YT guidelines,
      so it breaks google webmaster guidelines.

      This does not mean that failblog, icanhazcheezburger, etc. are
      breaking terms. They are a completely different animal, no
      pun intended.

      You are doing nothing but scraping and embedding videos for
      no real reason except to show YT videos.

    Create a social atmosphere for your videos, social media works tremendously well. Optimize for the keyword you're targeting and

    It also doesn't hurt to build backlinks on blogs that promote your video.

    I don't know why some people would say you can't SEO videos. That's completely incorrect.
