I'm looking to start a few teespring campaigns and had a question. Can anyone give me an estimate on what you can pay per click to be profitable? I know it can vary, but basically what percentage of people who click to the website actually purchase? Thanks

Your conversion rates and clicks really depend on your niche and audience. There's a lot that go into it and each campaign varies.

But getting your audience and target person you'd like to market to down to the T can really help lower your costs.

As Sunny said, it does vary on the niche, so we can't exactly tell you a correct answer. You'll need to provide us with more details.

The more targeted the audience, the more clicks you'll have and the lower your CPC will be.

Now whether or not they'll buy depends on the niche. People who are passionate about their niche and/or trending topics seem to sell best on teespring.

Thanks for the responses, I guess my main question is what percentage of people who actually click to the teespring website actually purchase? Does this vary much?

Yes it vary's quite a bit. It will just take testing to find out your questions. Unfortunately these numbers will usually be different even if you and another person were doing the same exact campaign.

The whole idea is to cast a wide net in your niche that's still targeted but split it into segments so you can see which areas are NOT working so you can stop doing that. For example, the easiest way to segment is by age groups and sex.

Do that, get your data and see what you need to stop doing first.

If you want to increase your daily spend just duplicate the ad with the exact target range you found that works and increase your limit. Don't just add more money to your daily spend on an existing ad.

Why? Well, it has been said that FB will just increase your CPC because you have more money in that one campaign. Also, you already have data in that campaign so why muck it up and dilute it with an increased spend when all you have to do is duplicate the ad with the correct targeting after your test.

You would also have to let us know what your profit margin per shirt is. Obviously, with a higher profit margin you can afford to spend more per sale.

It depends on the price of your shirt! But I usually target 1 sale for every $5 spent on ads.
