I have a parked domain that I use and was wondering if a parked domain is bad for seo purposes?

Just something that I got to thinking about and couldn't find any good information on the web.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks in advance.

Parked domains usually do not exist on the web.

A true parked domain has nothing to index.

Google has tried to eliminate them from SERPs, so
    I guess that's your answer.

You have to have something to do SEO on.

Why not forward the domain or at least develop one page?

I read a blog post on Brian Dean's site about parked domains and how it helps in boosting your SEO. Here's the link Ecommerce SEO Case Study: White Hat Link Building Without Any Content

A few years ago we could hit #1 on Goog with empty domains literally no index page with just a few power links.

No more you need content and if the EMD is a high cpc term, forget about doing high response content, you need junk now to get on google serps, it's literally how not to make a website or do seo now to rank with Google.

Matt cutts killed the relevancy of the serps, it's why 1/3 now use bing/yahoo and the quality of the users on bing/yahoo is better than the sheeple still using google.
