Thinking of buying Article Marketing Robot?

So I'm looking to check out Article Marketing Robot so I can automate my article directory submissions. But, i'm curious what some of the other options are.

I understand what article directories, but what is Web 2.0 and Wiki Sites. Could I use those to submit articles to them with backlinks back to my posts?
