What am I doing wrong?

Hi, Just 1 week? that is not enough. Have patience and continues to work as usual.

For new domains it will take at least 2 months of link building to get google organic visitors. Within a week you can expect just the indexing of your site. If you need immediate traffic start an PPC campaign in Bing or 7search. Thin affiliate sites cannot rank easily in present situation. Add lot of meaningful, useful contents related to your niche by targeting low competition keyword. If you have targeted the keyword like "weight loss". You will never reach page 1 even after few years. So enter into the niche where low competitive keywords are still available, use keyword tools like long tail pro to find such keywords.

what have you done for this? link building? Build backlinks you've done?
in affiliate marketing not just enough to read, You need to do much more, nothing instant results, all need process and hardwork. 7 day not enough to change everything
You can't get anything if you just sit on your computer just read and do nothing
This is not magic, if you just build a blog then leave it alone, without doing optimization on your blog You will not get a single visitor
if you just upload the video without doing link building on your video don't expect anyone see your video
no one can help you if you still think that way, you need to change your mindset internet marketing is hard, if your mindset still like this you never succed in this world, throw away instant results mindset all need hardworks and process if you can't change your mindset this is not your world, you need effort in this world

First of all you need to drive targeted traffic to your website. To do that...

1- You have to rank your site for multiple good keywords. For this, learn how to do SEO or hire someone to do SEO on behalf of you.

2- Learn how to do Email marketing. Learn more about Solo ads and email SWAP. There are some good forums available where you can see people with email subscribers are ready to send you quality clicks. Find them. Filter them according to your niche. Carefully chose some providers and pay them to send instant targeted traffic to your site. I often get at least 4 sales after an email blast. If the investment is 50$ for every 100 clicks then I can easily make 100$ from just 4 CB sales. Not bad at all.

3- Collect email subscribers from your visitors. Send them well written emails. Now do little bit math. Lets say you have 100 subscribers. You are sending them emails once in every week. In this way you will surely get at least 5 sales within 4 weeks or one month. From 100 subscribers this amount is not bad at all. So you need to collect as many subscriber as you can.

One big mess that almost every new marketer does. Most of the time I noticed newbie marketers often forget to design their landing pages attractively.

- Build an authority site instead of building poor 4 pages affiliate sites.

- Make sure your landing page is well equipped with good video, article or whatever content you want to use.

- Don't give audience false information on the products you are willing to sale.

- Engage with them with discussion via comment section.

- Use large image on header of the article and some medium size images inside of the article with links inside of them to the affiliate page.

- Carefully check affiliate websites which has good CTR and conversion. Try to figure out how the sites are successfully marketing products. Initially copy paste their strategy. Once you will get some experience you will be able to discover your own methods.

Finally

IM is not a subject which can be understood overnight. It takes time, effort, investment etc. as other offline businesses. The good side is here you can start a shop with 5 products with comparatively low investment than an offline business with real show room. Only 7 hours a day will not work. I worked and still am working even 16 hours a day. I have some VAs from different time zones who are working 24/7. So this requires hard work. Continue hard working. You will be succeed soon.
