What are "white hats" or "black hats" tactics in SEO?

hi everyone..i'm kind of a newbie in SEO world, any idea what are these so called white or black hats tactics?

    Hello friend, welcome to SEO world
    White hat SEO is the best way for getting traffic to your website. There are too many white hat SEO techniques which are good for getting ranked on google and also for your website's online presence. But black hat SEO is not good for your website, never use this. It is considered as illegal techniques and Google will penalize you if you will use these type of SEO methods. Black hat techniques are simply used to fool Google.

    True white hat is onpage optimisation only. That and creating content that is good quality and sharable. Starting from scratch will be very hard following this method.

    Grey hat would include creating high quality content and links to replicate the sharing of your content yourself to build good backlinks.

    Black hat is essentially anything else. Using automatic link software, engaging in reciprocal link schemes, posting links anywhere in an unnatural fashion, and basically exploiting the search engines. Black hat methods are dangerous and will often lead to search engine penalisations or ban.

    It's easy for me.. For White Hat technique, you are follow most of search engine algorithm to get a better rank without spamming thousand no quality link in short period. Black Hat technique use to be like a spam, you spread thousand of your link without concern about the quality to make search engine rank your website on first page.

    Believe me, you will kill your website immediately if you do Black Hat technique. Recent search engine have a better algorithm to trace a spammer, your site will be gone from search engine page result forever.

    Black Hat Seo

    This is the "illegal" approach which breaks internet searcher controls yet tries to conceal this so the site is not banned.
    Google and other search engines don't support of these techniques and practices, and frequently punish sites' which execute these practices.

    Eventually, activity picked up through black hat SEO strategies is temporary, as internet searchers will punish or even ban sites utilizing these misleading practices.
